I have been so fortunate to have wonderful friends by my side. At this very moment I'm back to having some semblance of normal human life until I leave, staying with my friend Sheryl.
I had a little update with sleeping outside again (please see the Prologues 1 - 5). I have reduced my backpack down to the size it should be. I've walked between 5 to 12 miles every day (literally) since I got here in January. I am bursting to get started! I have no money, but that is all part of the adventure.
Before we start this whole thing I simply want to give a very deep and heartfelt thanks to those people who kept believing in these journeys. I am beyond grateful. I wouldn't do this if I didn't know that you walk beside me. You give me great strength. And I mean to give you something that has not been seen before.
I hold in my hand a small candle. It can light everything around me. It shines forward like a headlight. The slightest wind can put it out. It takes concentration to keep it lit. I am about to show how much I am willing to dedicate my life to keeping that candle lit.
Please tell your friends and family about this blog. Together we can find a new perspective about the country we live in.
