Hello! And, welcome to the IWALLK Podcast. I am your host Alex Wall. This program is being broadcast on March 2, 2017. This is Episode 3, titled: "Life in the Second Class - An Interview with Alex Wall - Part 2."

Well, we had a better reception to Episode 2. People were a bit divided about the music I use. One person commented that it was distracting to hear during the introduction. I don't really agree, but I tried lowering the music volume a bit for today's episode. 

On the other hand, another listener liked the music so much that she bought the album, which also includes four other ambient pieces. She even chose to pay extra.  A very generous gesture. 

The name of the track that I use on this podcast is, "Luminescence," from the album "Psychoambience." They can be heard and purchased at Bandcamp, one of the sites at which my music is sold. I have provided a link in the program notes this week.

I have no other donors to thank this week. It is, I suppose, appropriate in the context of the subject matter, to remind listeners that the kind donations made to this podcast and my blog IWALLK.blogspot.com, are my only source of income. As things stand now, I have only seven days of medication left, and am at risk of having to go off these life sustaining meds if I can't afford to fill my prescription next week. 

This isn't meant to tug at your heartstrings, but rather to show you the kinds of things that those of us who live in the Second Class struggle with. 

After Part 3, next week's conclusion of the interview and discussion we have been listening to, there will be a program about food insecurity Maine (another issue which has become quite prominent for me lately--as I was just denied EBT foods stamps in February), and also what I call "the circle of catch 22's"--that being, how the deficits of one limitation (say, not having a car) affects and creates other limitations (like not being able to get a job), and then how both situations, prevent - and also are exacerbated by - not having a place to live. I will be moving back out side and having to live in only a month.
