A Living Magazine - Day 144 - Just Another Work Day

This would be a simple day of writing with no exploration or chance meetings. I really would skip mentioning what I did, were it not for the few pictures I took...

Toe nail damaged socks. I need new ones, but have not the resources yet to buy them.

I had gotten up at 2:00 am, because a rainstorm moved into town, dumping quite a bit of water on the place of my temporary inhabitation, and the tarp/fly needed to be put into place. I have a really effective system down for staking the edges of the tarp/fly...

The rain was completely gone, along with all of its associated moisture, by sunrise. And, the walk downtown was pleasant...

I love the smell of gridlocked traffic in the morning!

I like the Nashville skyline. It is complex and artful.

Hard Rock Cafes - once a novel and interesting idea - are now just cliches in these southern cities.

I have no desire at all to go in and buy their overpriced food, nor eat it while looking at 

artificial Americana junk strewn around the walls; no better than an Applebee's at this point (imo).

AT&T building. Great architecture, but what do you expect from the 1-5%?

I worked on and published the day's post at Starbucks, and then headed back out to my peaceful hill...

I set up the tent, with no need for the tarp/fly. Intellicast.com said there would be the first freezes for the next few mornings, but thankfully, I would be in a classy hotel the next day and night. I slept in peace.
