I worked at the library for most of the day. Here are some better shots of that marionette mobile...
Each one is unique.
Other objects of glass and metal hang within the mobile.
The whole flock.
When I'd finished the post, I headed back to South Portland, via Congress and then State Street...
The Portland Magazine building, right next to the State Street Church.
What a nice building!
I crossed over Casco Bay Bridge and decided to take the Thomas Knight Park ramp...
I walked through the park then down to the busy intersection of Waterman and Broadway, then across to the South Portland Greenbelt Pathway, but only for a short distance before heading into a small break in the rose bushes that line the path. Here is the general area...
Here is the spot itself...
Everything in the yellow border I'm temporarily owning.
The sleep spot.
It is located between the beach and the ditch.
Except for the last picture, all of the following are taken from and around the sleep spot. These sunsets have been incredible...
Looking southwest down my private beach.
Now looking northeast.
The tide coming in.
\The sun began to reach the horizon...
Panoramas.
Then the sun turned red...
Looks like spray paint.
Then it was down.
I liked this shot--a vertical panorama.
Look how the blue sky fades to white.
My beach with the tide in.
I hadn't ever really noticed thick vines like this in Maine.
I first time I really saw them in Pennsylvania.
But I guess these would count. I believe they are bittersweet.
I stayed until the sky was fully dark...
The tide was out, so why not make the symbol?
I made my way out and back onto the path, then crossed over to Anthoine Street, where I noticed the police are looking for a few good men and women...
I got back to Deb's and downloaded all of the above photos. I'm still cautious about the SD card I'm using. I was beat after processing them and went to bed, only eating one bag of roasted broad beans for the whole day.
