But there was also: "Baph", "Acid IX", "DUI", "OTL", and "Canyon Boys", among many others. I absolutely had to do a laundry before I completely ran out of money, so I went to the "Superwash" again...
Item that are always on me: knife, Visine, wallet and change box.
While waiting for my clothes to wash and dry I took some more shots, trying different settings on the new camera. Here are some macro shots...
No idea what these are, and they're everywhere on the chain link fences.
A bee bee.
The long-missing...
I also took a short video of the fountain outside, which is in the town's basalt motif, and happened to catch a train carrying plane fuselages (please see the video at the bottom). I was able to change into my swim trunks to do the laundry. The only thing I forgot to wash was my rain jacket--which I'd been using as a ground cover, since losing the tarp.
I needed to go back to Wal-Mart to buy shavers, so I walked to the Transit Center along Sprague Street, past a boarded up hotel with these murals...
And the theaters...
I looked for the $1.50 bus fare but only had $1.45, so I swung by the park on my way to RiteAid, to get a little cash back...
I bought a banana for $0.75 and got $4.00 in ones, and a dollar in quarters, then returned to find Bus 25 ready to depart. I hopped on and rode out to Wellesley, where I decided to walk to Wal-Mart--not knowing when the Wellesley bus might go by. Again - like a couple days before - it passed me right before the bus stop. But I got to see my favorite of all flowers, Heavenly Blue Morning Glories...
Ipomoea tricolor.
And a sunflower, bowing under its own weight...
There is always a Wall Street. I took a video of it's intersection which appears at the end of the video below...
Laundry and Wall Street test video.
I bought the shavers and returned to the bus stop near McDonald's to catch the Bus 33 transfer to Ash, Bus 23, and then got back out at the park stop. I went to the library and made my daily post, which took until they closed.
When I got back to the creek, it was dark. I stood for a while just listening to the sounds around me and the highway far above, wondering when a train might go by. Then I got the idea of making a high quality recording of what it sounded like without and with a train. Since, I've heard these sounds every night for a month, I thought it might be nice if you could close your eyes, listen and imagine yourself there, alone.
